Pre-game page

This page is for marketers and campaign managers. The pre-game page is what a player sees before they press Play. It is the first thing anybody sees of your campaign, so it is the place for your logo, a headline, an animation or a short video.

Open the campaign and choose 4. Pre-game.

  1. Choose Add a block and pick a block from the list.
  2. Fill in the block’s fields.
  3. Use the Move up and Move down buttons to put blocks in order, and Remove to take one out.
  4. Choose Save page.

Every page needs exactly one Play button. If you leave the page alone, or choose Reset to default, players still get a Play button on your colours.

Block What it shows What you set
Logo Your own logo, from the campaign’s Branding. Maximum width, 60 to 480 pixels.
Heading One big line at the top. Words, Alignment (Centred or Left).
Text A sentence or two. Words, Alignment.
Play button The way into the game. Wording, for example “Spin the wheel” (blank shows “Play”). Wording when they are out of plays, shown once a player has used every play.
Image A picture from your media library. Image, Description for screen readers (blank if the image is decoration), Maximum width, 80 to 720 pixels.
Animation A Lottie animation from your media library. Animation, Play on arrival, Repeat, Speed (Half speed, Normal, 1.5 times, Double speed), Maximum width.
Video An MP4 or WebM from your media library, up to 50 MB. Video, Still image shown before it plays, Show play controls, Play automatically, Repeat, Maximum width.
Divider A line between sections. Nothing.
Space A gap. Size: Small, Medium or Large.

Lottie files must be exported with their images embedded and without expressions.

A video set to Play automatically plays without sound, because phones refuse to start a video with sound. Players can unmute it.

Every block has Show this to:

Option Who sees the block
Everybody Every player.
First-time players People who have not played before.
Players who have played before Returning players.
Players with no plays left People who have used every play their play limits allow.

Use this to welcome new players, or to tell people who are out of plays when they can come back. Keliplay decides who sees what before the page is sent, so a block never reaches somebody it is not for.

The preview draws the page exactly as a player sees it. Use Preview as to switch between First-time player, Returning player and No plays left, and Theme to switch between Light and Dark.

The pre-game page is a plan feature. Without it, the tab shows Not on your plan, and your games still work: players get a Play button on your own colours. See Plans.
